Deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest has been a major issue for many years now. Remote Sensing has been a key tool in monitoring and combating the level of deforestation that occurs in this region. In this site we will take an indepth look on the remote sensing of this area, such as how its used, what type of sensors are used to moniter the area, and how it is being used to make a difference.
